The Taybank Real Music Bar

Scotland's musical meeting place, Dougie MacLean and his wife Jenny, creators of this special live music venue, have handed over the reins to Nigel and Beverly Large so that they can spend more time on the growth of their own successful music business. Listen to, or take part in, fantastic nights of Celtic songs and tunes with a veritable host of like-minded musicians. The Taybank has become a centre of excellence for celtic music and provides learning sessions for singers, songwriters, performance and a variety of musical instruments. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, jazz or folk, come along and enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the "craic" and the music.

Dunkeld Smoked Salmon

Award-winning, highly acclaimed salmon smokehouse just across the road from us. Mum always gets her salmon from there and it's brilliant!! Ronnie Ross is the head smoker. He also plays the piano accordion, is a retained fireman in the local brigade and practices looking dour (like scots are supposed to!) from time to time. (He'll kill me when he reads this!!!)

Home of the original deerskin moccasin and so much more. Dad can vouch for the moccasins personally because he's got a pair. Jeremy and Gillian Law have developed the Highland Horn, Leather and Deerskin centre in Dunkeld for the past 25 years. The excellence of their craftsmanship is acknowledged by customers around the world.
